Enjoy the Heights of Valencia!

Below, we explain where to find the best viewpoints and the most popular rooftops in Valencia. We are sure they will amaze you, and we encourage you to visit them with your partner or friends for an unforgettable evening.

El Saler Shopping Centre Viewpoint

El Saler Shopping Centre is one of the most famous in the capital and is located very close to the City of Arts and Sciences.

In the summer of 2021, one of the city’s most esteemed viewpoints was inaugurated here, attracting thousands of tourists daily. So, what’s the secret? It is strategically positioned right opposite the City of Arts and Sciences, offering unique views. It’s a perfect spot for some top-notch photos.

Access is free, and it’s open from 09:00 to 22:00, although we advise you to check the opening hours in summer as they are extended.

El Miguelete

El Micalet is one of the architectural symbols of the city, serving as the bell tower of the cathedral. The Valencians have a special affection for this tower due to its antiquity, construction starting in 1381.

The architectural style is Gothic, it stands 51 metres tall and has a perimeter of 63 metres. There are a total of 11 bells, each with its own name (Catalina, Úrsula, Bárbara, Violante, etc.).

We advise wearing comfortable clothing, as you need to climb a total of 207 spiral steps to enjoy the views from the tower.

This tower is located right in the centre of Valencia, specifically in Plaza de la Reina. Entry costs €2.50 and visiting hours vary depending on the time of year.

270º Terrace at Hotel Barceló Valencia

Hotel Barceló Valencia is also located near the City of Arts and Sciences. For us at LOCK & enjoy!, it is one of our favourite rooftop bars in the city, especially at night, as you can contemplate one of the best views of the illuminated city.

It is located on the top floor of the hotel, specifically on the 10th. It’s one of the ideal places to enjoy a cocktail with your partner, friends, or family. It offers a wide menu so you can choose the drink you like best. Additionally, with summer approaching, you also have the option to enjoy its pool during the day.

Entry is free, but you must make a purchase to enjoy this wonderful terrace. As for the hours, it is open from 12:00 to 00:00.

Palau Alameda

Palau Alameda is one of Valencia’s most iconic spaces due to its views and size.

It covers approximately 2700 square metres. This space hosts gastronomy, culture, and leisure in three distinct areas: Azza, La Sala, and Àtic. In the latter, you can enjoy a panoramic restaurant for dining or drinks with loved ones. The views overlook Paseo de la Alameda and the old riverbed of the Turia.

From LOCK & enjoy!, we recommend you try some of the dishes on the menu, crafted by the famous chef Nicolás Román.

It opens from Tuesday to Sunday from 12:00 to 02:30.

Torres de Serrano

This is another landmark for Valencians and a must-visit for those coming to the city.

Originally, they were one of the main gates of the medieval wall that provided access to the city. Their historical, artistic, and cultural significance is undeniable, which is why they have been designated as a National Historic-Artistic Monument.

Once you climb to the highest area, there are several viewpoints at different heights from which you can see the historic centre and the Turia Garden from an unparalleled perspective.

They are in Plaza del Furs, near the old town and the Turia Garden. They are closed to the public on Mondays, but on other weekdays they can be visited during working hours. Entry costs €2, but it’s free on holidays and weekends.

Sky Bar Restaurante Vertical

This place is one of our favourites, especially for celebrating special occasions: anniversaries, birthdays, romantic moments, etc. So, don’t hesitate to visit with your partner to enjoy one of the most beautiful skylines.

It’s an intimate yet spacious venue where you can have a drink or a snack while enjoying unbeatable views. We also recommend trying some of the dishes on the menu, as they are truly exceptional.

It’s ideal at any time of the year, but keep in mind that it cools down in the evenings in summer due to the height of the terrace. To access, you must go to the Hotel Ilunion Aqua 4 and head to the top floor of the complex.

Experience Valencia from above! Book a locker at LOCK & enjoy! to store your belongings or luggage and enjoy the city’s rooftops and viewpoints in total comfort. You can count on us.
