El Arenal is a district of Seville belonging to the Casco Antiguo district. It is located on the left bank of the Guadalquivir River and is bordered to the north by the neighbourhoods of Museo and Alfalfa and to the east and south by the neighbourhood of Santa Cruz. A few metres away you have the Cathedral to the east, the Cristina gardens to the south and the Reyes Católicos street to the north. It is an eminently tourist, monumental and leisure neighbourhood, with numerous bars and restaurants where many young people go at weekends.
Our Locker in the Arenal neighbourhood is a 1 minute walk from the Plaza Nueva and the Town Hall, where you will find a taxi rank and the Metrocentro, which will drop you off at the Prado de San Sebastián bus station, from where you can take different lines of the city bus or the bus to the airport.
Don’t forget to visit the famous Seville Mushrooms, which are a 10-minute walk from our left-luggage office.

The most interesting streets in the Arenal neighbourhood.
– Paseo Colón, which together with the Marqués de Contadero gardens separates the neighbourhood from the Guadalquivir river. Here you will find the Maestranza Bullring, the Maestranza Theatre and the Torre del Oro.
In the Marques de Contadero gardens, with magnificent views over Triana and the bridges, there are areas for strolling, cafés and a stop for the river boats and tourist buses.
– Calle Adriano, the centre of the neighbourhood. It runs from the Paseo de Colón to the Plaza de la Puerta del Arenal. It borders the back of the Plaza de Toros where we find the chapel of Baratillo, headquarters of this brotherhood that goes out in procession on Holy Wednesday. It is an area of bars and restaurants.
– Calle García Vinuesa, from the Puerta del Arenal to the Cathedral. It is a shopping street and the natural entrance to the neighbourhood from the Avenida de la Constitución.
– Calle Arfe, from the Puerta del Arenal to Calle Dos de Mayo. This is the area with the most bars and youth life in the neighbourhood.
– Calle Dos de Mayo, from Paseo Colón to Avenida de la Constitución. Pass by the old shipyards, the craft market and cross the Postigo del Aceite. You will see the remains of the city wall and it is an emblematic place during Easter Week in Seville.
– Calle Temprado, from Calle Dos de Mayo to Calle Santander. This is the most monumental street. Here we find the Chapel of the Rosary, headquarters of the Brotherhood of the Waters (Easter Monday), the old Atarazanas and the magnificent 17th century Baroque Hospital de la Caridad, with works by Murillo, Valdés Leal and Zurbarán.
– Calle Santander, from Avenida de la Constitución to Paseo Colón. Here we find the old Coliseum Theatre, the work of Aníbal González, the Casa de la Moneda (Mint) and the Torre de la Plata (Silver Tower).
– Calle Castelar, an elegant, straight street stretching from the Puerta del Arenal to the secluded Plaza de Molviedro, with fine buildings and hotels. Visit the Capilla del Mayor Dolor, home of the Despojado brotherhood, which makes its penitential procession on Palm Sunday.
– Calle Pastor y Landero, a wide street that runs from Calle Reyes Católicos and Calle Adriano, the natural entrance to the neighbourhood from the north. It is the site of the old Mercado de Entradores building. An area full of places to dine.
– Calle Reyes Católicos, from the Puente de Triana to the Puerta de Triana. A wide avenue that delimits the neighbourhood to the north. It is the entrance to the shopping centre and a very busy area with restaurants and hotels.
