What museums are there in Benidorm?
The city has only 2 museums, but in our view, they are very interesting due to their themes. Keep reading to find out which they are!
Boca del Calvari Museum
This art centre is notably located right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the historic town’s streets. The building that houses it, is known for its modernist art style.
It features temporary collections that span contemporary art and the town’s own history. Among the artists showcased here, we would like to highlight Óscar Tusquets and Rosalía Banet.
During the summer, you can visit it from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday to Sunday. Admission is free!
L’Hort de Colón
This is a museum house that belonged to one of the most important families in the area, the Zaragoza Ortuños. It was donated to the city council in the eighties, but with the condition that a small garden must be maintained, hence its name.
Above the door, you can read “Colón,” named after a ship that was captained by Vicente Zaragoza Ortuño. He was a popular historical figure known for his economic activity: shipbuilding.

Benidorm Palace
This is one of the most famous venues nationally, and even internationally. It is located very close to the centre of Benidorm, just a 5-minute walk away. This company has been organizing events for nearly 50 years, hence its popularity.
The shows are thematic (dance, music, magic, comedy, etc.), and with dinner included. Many notable national and international artists have performed here. To name a few: María Jiménez, Sara Montiel, and Víctor Manuel.

Sinatra’s Disco Pub
If you prefer something more active, come and visit this famous venue in the city. It’s also open in the evening, from 7:30 PM to 5:30 AM.
The main star here is Neil Saint John, one of the most recognized voices in music, both by locals and those who have visited the city more than once. Every night features a different performance, but his tributes to Sister Act or Tom Jones have been very famous.
The venue is popular with British tourists, so the party, music, and fun are more than guaranteed.
Medieval Challenge
Located on the outskirts of the city, it’s worth the 10-minute drive or booking a taxi to get there.
It’s a medieval-themed show, also with dinner included. It has become one of the most important leisure and tourist attractions in the area. It features facilities completely themed to the era and can accommodate up to 1,200 people.

Molino Benidorm
This venue might initially go unnoticed, but it is a nightclub where comedy, fantasy, and folklore mix. A show is organized every day, more focused on adults. It is a 10-minute walk from the city centre.
Performances include drag queens, cabaret, and musical theatre. It is frequented by both tourists and locals of Benidorm. We would like to highlight that it has very affordable prices and a magnificent terrace.

Heartbreak Rock Bar
This pub is another emblem of Benidorm, located right on the Levante Beach promenade. It is characterized mainly because there is live music at any time of the day, specifically rock. Most tourists consider it the best music bar in the city.
It opens from 12:00 PM to 3:00 AM. What we love most about this place is that you can sit down for a drink or a beer while looking at the sea, as it is just a few meters away.
