Enjoy the Events in Paris in November 2024!

We’ve put together a wide selection of the most popular events to ensure your stay in Paris is both unique and different. Additionally, it’s a great opportunity to escape the crowds in the city centre.

Paris Photo

As every year, the international photography art fair, Paris Photo, is back. The event will be held from 7th to 10th November (inclusive) at the Grand Palais.

During this week, all kinds of photography professionals (artists, publishers, collectors, etc.) will gather. Over 200 exhibitors will place modern photography in the spotlight. We’d like to highlight the Elles x Paris Photo sector, focused on women. It’s a great opportunity to meet the artists and even purchase the photograph that you love the most.

This event at the Grand Palais is divided into the following areas:

  • Voices (art and personalities).
  • Emergence (contemporary scene).
  • Editions (books).

Christmas Lights Switch-On

The Christmas lights switch-on is a very special day for Parisians, as it marks the start of the festive season.

At LOCK & enjoy!, we recommend watching it from the Champs-Élysées, as this famous avenue is closed to traffic and is where most people gather to enjoy the spectacle. Don’t worry if you can’t find a good spot to watch the lights switch-on, as the city council installs screens around the area so that everyone has a chance to see it.

It’s the best way to get up close to the Christmas trees and the powerful lighting that lines the avenue.

The date for this year is November 17th, and it will feature the presence of the city’s mayor and several celebrities who will act as patrons. The lighting will continue until the end of the first week of January. We’d also like to mention that the lights are switched off from midnight onwards, except on the 24th and 31st of December.

Paris Supercross 2024

On 16th and 17th November, Paris Supercross takes place at La Défense Arena. If you’re a fan of motorcycles, we recommend attending to enjoy a memorable edition and an incredible experience.

This is an annual motorcycling event featuring the best riders in the sport. It’s visually spectacular, especially for the freestyle aspect of this discipline. We’re sure the impressive jumps, acrobatic tricks, and high-speed spins won’t disappoint.

This year’s line-up includes Marvin Musquin, Justin Barcia, and Jason Anderson, among others. It’s a great chance to meet them and snap a photo.

It’s the return of a legendary musical, but it’s not just a simple reprise of the songs. It’s a new opportunity to rediscover French songs that have become classics, such as À la volonté du peuple and Mon histoire. What sets this production apart is its innovative staging, with original and unique performances.

Métamorphoses

At the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie, there’s an event filled with activities called Métamorphoses, which wraps up on 23rd November after more than a year since its opening. If you have children, this is one of the must-see events in Paris in November 2024.

It’s an exhibition that invites you to follow the fantastic story of a variety of animals and plants that change and transform. It’s a magical, immersive journey filled with curiosities and wonders of nature. Also a unique way for children to expand their knowledge in a novel and original way.

There are five interactive and immersive worlds that will make for a morning full of adventures: theme parks, enchanted forests, shadow theatres, and more.

La Saga des Grands Magasins

On 6th November, the exhibition La Saga des Grands Magasins opens at the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine, very close to our lockers in Paris – Tour Eiffel.

This exhibition explores the fascinating history of Paris’s department stores. It reflects the evolution of consumerism in the city, as well as its architecture. Most of these buildings are true architectural masterpieces, as is the case with Galeries Lafayette, for example.

The entry fee is €12. We’d also like to mention that this exhibition will remain open until April 2025.

During your visit, make sure to make the most of each event without the hassle of carrying your luggage. With our lockers in Paris, you can move around freely and comfortably while we take care of your belongings. Enjoy Paris!
