KU Nightclub
This nightclub is quite far from the city centre, specifically on the old road connecting the towns of Benidorm with Alfaz del Pi, heading towards Altea. In the 1980s and 1990s, it was the quintessential party area in Benidorm in an attempt to replicate the “Valencian Movida.”
Once the venues in the centre of Benidorm close, many people head to this area to continue partying until dawn, meaning there’s a lot of movement from 4 AM onwards.
KU Nightclub is known for its striking design, as it resembles a spaceship, very similar to a UFO. It features both national and international DJs in a spacious venue that also has a terrace and pool.

Planet Benidorm
This is a modern entertainment bar, though most of its customers come to watch sports.
It has large terraces, so the temperature is very pleasant when you’re sitting out enjoying a beer. Inside, there are dance floors with the best music, both national and international. It attracts both national and international tourists.
It opens every day from 09:00 AM to 02:00 AM, except Wednesdays that it closes at midnight.
La Posada
This venue is a mix between a nightclub and a pub, though at night, all customers dance to pop and commercial music, both Spanish and English. It’s located right in the city centre, very close to the beach and the historic centre.
It has a great atmosphere as people of all ages attend. However, its secret lies at the back of the venue where a huge glass window offers one of the most emblematic views of Benidorm.
Its menu features a wide variety of drinks and cocktails for you to enjoy a wonderful night. Ask about the reserved areas if you prefer something more exclusive.
Bar Titanic
If you’re into cocktails, at LOCK & enjoy! we recommend this bar because they make them deliciously and at very affordable prices. However, we do not recommend it when there’s football on, as it can get excessively noisy.
It is also a restaurant, known for its takeaway food such as pizza, fish, or chips.
Located at Avenida de Cuenca 23, it is open from 09:00 AM to midnight.
KM Playa
KM Playa nightclub is one of the most famous in Benidorm. It has a terrace, restaurant, and an inviting dance floor.
At first glance, it might seem like just a nightlife spot; however, you can also have lunch and dinner here, or enjoy a drink or beer in a relaxed mode, although it’s best to do so at midday or in the afternoon. It is located right on the beachfront, which is one of its most outstanding features.
It mainly caters to young people between 20 and 30 years old.
Club Phillippines 10
This is one of the most hidden bars in Benidorm, but it’s well worth a visit. Located in the basement of the Hotel Presidente, it’s not one of the most popular.
We’ve included it on the list because of its warm and elegant atmosphere, and for its exquisite decoration in the style of the 1920s. The golden tones, geometric figures, and retro style make it a very original place to have a drink, as if it were a cabaret.
Portobello Nightclub Pub
Very close to La Posada, this nightclub is also very popular with national tourists. Located in “El Callejón,” the pub area in the city centre.
At midday, it’s a restaurant offering a wide range of top-quality dishes. At night, it transforms into a nightclub with the best DJs of the moment and very affordable prices.
This place also features one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Benidorm and conveys a sense of space and energy due to the amount of natural light.

Located on Levante Beach is Bar Hotel California. It has become one of the most visited for its design and style. The reason is that as soon as you enter, you feel like you are in a true American-style bar.
It has a great terrace with a giant screen for big sports events. The furniture is colourful and includes sofas. On the walls, there are various decorative paintings with surfboards and palm trees.

Penélope Benidorm
Without a doubt, Penélope nightclub is the emblem of the city’s nightlife. It’s very close to KU, just a 5-minute walk away. The symbol is a young woman with dark hair and a tilted hat. Sound familiar?
