Who Are We?
We are a company that has created a business model that has truly transformed the tourist experience.
We were founded in 2019 with a strong commitment to technology. Our business is based on an automated locker rental service in various locations. Our aim is to allow our customers to leave their luggage in totally secure places so they can enjoy the city without worries.
All our establishments are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Our experience as travellers and tourists allowed us to consolidate our idea and be clear about the direction we wanted to take with LOCK & enjoy! How many times have you had to walk around a city with your suitcase or backpack without knowing where to store them? Once you trust us, this will no longer be a problem.
Where Did We Take Our First Steps?
We have our roots in Andalusia, more specifically in Seville. This fact led us to choose this city as the first to start. For this, we opened our first locations at strategic points in the capital (near Santa Justa Station or the City Hall, among others). This modest expansion was carried out progressively, following thorough market analyses.
Currently, we have 5 locations in the capital of Seville, the latest of which opened in February 2023.
Expansion
The success we achieved allowed us to continue moving in the right direction. If we had to choose a year of success, it would be 2023. The reason is that our brand and our business model have been established in many important locations in Spain that year. In 2023, LOCK & enjoy! managed to have presence in the following cities:
- Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
- Madrid.
- Valencia.
- Málaga.
The year 2024 has also brought us good news, as we have managed to open new locations in Palma de Mallorca and Benidorm. Additionally, not long ago we took a giant leap as our company has crossed borders, since we have opened in Paris.
Future Outlook
Our sustained growth allows us to look to the future with optimism for several reasons.
Firstly, we would like to highlight that we trust in the continuous growth of the tourism sector. The reason is that we have reached the pre-pandemic figures in terms of the number of overnight stays.
And secondly, we aim to be present in many more areas of Spain, such as Barcelona, Bilbao, or Oviedo, to name a few examples. Our intention is to be a reference for those who want to store their belongings in a secure place and with complete freedom to open and close their lockers as needed.
LOCK & enjoy! in the Media
Our brand and business have been consolidated thanks to media coverage that has echoed our success.
We have a strong presence in local and regional media that has allowed us to become known and advertise our successes. For example, at the last April Fair, we reached a total of 4,000 suitcases stored in Seville, thus achieving record numbers.
On the other hand, all the openings of the locations that we have progressively opened have had a strong presence in the media, such as those in Málaga or Madrid.
We would also like to highlight that the official tourism page of the city of Madrid also recommends us on their website as a safe and comfortable place for luggage.
What is the Basis of Our Success?
One of the pillars that have made us a successful company has been giving freedom to our customers. Therefore, we do not have schedules, we are open every day, and there are no employees in our locations.
On the website, you have instructions for making reservations with discounts if you book a locker in advance. However, the process is very simple, as we provide you with a non-transferable code so you can access the location as many times as you need. This code will also allow you to open your locker.
Furthermore, initially, we thought that not all luggage is the same. For this reason, you have a series of lockers in different sizes and dimensions so you can choose the one that best suits you, from the smallest to the largest.
Security was also one of our main concerns. Therefore, all our locations are equipped with 24-hour video surveillance, thus achieving a very high level of security.
Do we resemble other companies in the industry? Absolutely not. Most of our competitors use keys that they provide to their customers with the risk that they can be lost or stolen.
The comfort, tranquillity, and freedom have been the key pieces of our initial establishment and progressive growth.
Franchise System
Although we have our own locations, our expansion has been based on a series of franchise-based agreements. However, we are one, so you will not see differences between one location and another.
It is a very attractive option, as it does not require large spaces or employees. Moreover, as a brand, we have a support area for the franchises that have decided to collaborate with us. There are already a total of 20 that are a good example of our seriousness and professionalism.
