La Cridà
This is the act that marks the beginning of the festivities and is starring Falla Benidorm Center, Falla Rincon de Loix and Falla Els Tolls which are the three falleras commissions of Benidorm. If you do not want to miss it, you should know that La Cridà will take place on Saturday March 2 from 19:00 in Gambo Street.
Paella Competition
Gastronomy enthusiasts have an unavoidable appointment the Sunday after La Cridà. It is, no more and no less, than the paella contest. Firewood, folding tables and lots of rice are the elements that next March 3 in Festa Espai will give life to one of the most popular dishes of our cuisine.
Last year up to 30 paellas were prepared, 19 of them were for the competition, which made the jury’s final verdict very difficult. As you can guess, it is one of the most popular events among locals and tourists. Can there be anything more iconic than eating paella outdoors in Benidorm?
Plantà and awards ceremony
March 15 is the day of the Plantà. It is a day during which the falleros artists put the finishing touches to the monuments that will be placed in the city of Benidorm. The next day, the jury will make a tour of the monuments falleros to assess them and choose the best work.
Offering
Another event that you should not miss is the one that will take place on Monday, March 18. From 18:30 in the Plaza de Castelar, the three falleras commissions will carry out the offering of flowers in honor of the Mare de Déu del Sofratge. In this parade you will be able to see the falleras with their traditional costume.
Mascletà, parade of floats and cremà
March 19, St. Joseph’s Day, is the most important date in the calendar, so various activities and events will be held during the day. One of the most popular is the Mascletà, scheduled for 14:00 and in which, of course, the three falleras commissions will participate. At 18:00 you can enjoy the expected parade of floats that will start its route from Marqués de Comillas street.
The highlight of this day is, of course, the Cremà, where fire will be planted to the falleros monuments. At 23:00 will begin the children’s cremà and then it will be the turn of the major monuments. With this end of the festival will put an end to 4 frenetic days of activity in Benidorm.
Other activities

- Contest of playbacks, on Saturday 16 of the hand of the commission Falla Benidorm Centro.
- Parades, on Sunday 17 and Monday 18, offered by the various falleras commissions.

- Parties with DJ on Monday, March 18 in the different tents of the falleras commissions.
