What is Transgrancanaria?<\/h2>\n

The Transgrancanaria<\/strong> is a mountain race that offers different modalities and routes, from 17 kilometers to the demanding 128 km of the longest course. Participants must negotiate high mountain areas, trails full of vegetation, and stretches of beach, which makes this race a real adventure that attracts runners from all over the world.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

When is the Transgrancanaria?<\/h2>\n

It is held annually in February or March, depending on the year. The 2024 edition, for example, will be from February 21 to 25,<\/strong> offering runners an ideal climate to enjoy the race and the unique landscapes that Gran Canaria offers at this time of the year<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Transgrancanaria Program<\/h2>\n

The program of this mountain race<\/strong> is composed of the following events: <\/p>\n

  • Start of the race:<\/strong> The climactic moment, where runners line up at the starting line and embark on their challenge. Depending on the chosen distance, you will face different terrains and challenges, from mountainous trails to stretches of beach. <\/li>\n
  • Awards ceremony:<\/strong> At the end of the race, an awards ceremony is held to recognize and honor the effort and dedication of the most outstanding runners in each category. It is a moment of celebration and camaraderie among all participants. <\/li>\n
  • Closing of the edition with a great celebration:<\/strong> After the awards ceremony, a celebration is organized for all participants, where you can relax, share experiences and enjoy the company of other mountain race lovers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
