At LOCK & enjoy! we take you to the Real Alcazar of Seville.<\/h2>\n

Seville is a city full of charms, an amazing gastronomy and very friendly people. In addition, it has a rich architectural heritage, among which stands out the Royal Alcazar<\/strong><\/a>. It is a jewel that began to be built in 914 and has undergone all kinds of changes. If you have not yet decided to visit it, leave your things in our luggage locker<\/strong> and go on an adventure. <\/p>\n

Evenings in the gardens<\/h3>\n

From July to September, evening activities are organized in the gardens of the Alcazar. All of them revolve around open-air concerts<\/g>, which take place in a spectacular setting. Keep in mind that you will be in the oldest royal palace in use in Europe. <\/p>\n

The musical genres are very varied, ranging from flamenco to jazz <\/strong>, with a wide range of jazz<\/strong><\/em>. This summer a total of 75 concerts have been programmed. So, if you are visiting the city, try to buy a ticket to attend, as it is an excellent way to get to know the center of Seville<\/g> and to fight the heat. You will enjoy the best music and pleasant temperatures in an exceptional location. <\/p>\n

Dramatized visits<\/h3>\n

Another type of activities that are carried out, and that we recommend from LOCK & enjoy!<\/strong> are the dramatized visits<\/strong>. In operation since 2020, they are carried out by the company of Classical Theater of Seville. And this year is going to be very special, as it commemorates the V Centenary of the First Around the World. <\/p>\n

The performances run from July through early December<\/strong>. To see them, you have at your disposal three passes each week: Thursday, Friday and Saturday. This is another way to enjoy the Alcazar, and especially its gardens, that you will love. If you are going to go to the city, it is an event that is worthwhile, as is using a Lockers<\/strong> in Seville <\/strong>from LOCK & enjoy!<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Feeling the history<\/h3>\n

In most cases, history is discovered through books, documentaries or movies that recreate a particular era. In this sense, it is not so common for buildings to survive, so it is highly recommended to visit those that have. One of the keys that have allowed the Alcazar to survive to the present day is its continued use<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

At first, it was a small citadel<\/strong> attached to the Roman wall of the city. However, over time the building increased in size and grandeur. The Almohads completely renovated it and, after the Christian conquest, its usefulness was maintained. After all, it was a fortress that was easy to take advantage of, so it ended up housing palatial rooms for royalty<\/g> and spectacular gardens. Today, it is a World Heritage Site and the residence of the royal family when they visit <\/a>Seville<\/a>.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

This is one of the fundamental reasons to visit the Alcazar. Given its age, the building has many architectural styles.
