Benidorm is one of the tourist epicenters of Spain, in 2023 it was the fifth most visited city. It is widely known for being a vacation destination where nightlife and beaches are the main attraction. However, there is much more we want you to know in LOCK & enjoy!<\/strong> as, for example, museums and shows in Benidorm<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

We could not fail to be present in this city. Our local Luggage storage<\/g><\/g> is located at Avenida del Mediterr\u00e1neo 66, local 2. Make your reservation in advance and enjoy a different day in Benidorm. <\/p>\n

What museums are there in Benidorm?<\/h2>\n

There are only 2 museums<\/strong> in the city, although from our point of view they are very interesting because of the subject matter. Read on to find out which ones they are! <\/p>\n

Boca del Calvari Museum<\/h3>\n

The location of this artistic center is striking, since it is right in the center of all the bustle of the streets of the historic center. The building that houses it stands out for its modernist art. <\/p>\n

They are temporary collections<\/strong> whose themes cover contemporary art and the history of the municipality. Among the artists exhibiting in this museum we would like to highlight \u00d3scar Tusquets or Rosal\u00eda Banet. <\/p>\n

During the summer, you can visit it from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday to Sunday, admission is free! <\/p>\n

L’Hort de Col\u00f3n<\/h3>\n

This is a house museum that belonged to one of the most important families in the area, the Zaragoza Ortu\u00f1o. It was donated to the city council in the eighties, but with the condition that a small orchard was built, hence its name. <\/p>\n

Just above the door you can read “Col\u00f3n”, the name of a ship that was captained by Vicente Zaragoza y Ortu\u00f1o. He was a very popular historical character due to his economic activity: the construction of ships. <\/p>\n

In LOCK & enjoy!<\/strong> we recommend you to visit it, since it is a building of the time and you can know how the houses were inside. However, to visit it you have to book in advance by calling the town hall<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n

The most famous shows in Benidorm<\/h2>\n

Compared to the number of museums, the celebration of shows does occupy a privileged place. We indicate which ones they are, as well as a small explanatory guide of each one. <\/p>\n

Benidorm Palace<\/h3>\n

It is one of the most famous nationally and even internationally. It is located very close to the center of Benidorm<\/g>, just 5 minutes walk. This company has been organizing events for almost 50 years, hence its popularity. <\/p>\n

They are thematic shows<\/strong><\/a> (dance, music, magic, humor, etc.), but with dinner included. Many important national and international artists have performed here. To give a few examples: Mar\u00eda Jim\u00e9nez, Sara Montiel or V\u00edctor Manuel. <\/p>\n

It has very affordable prices ranging from 35 \u20ac to 85 \u20ac, depending on the services you hire. As for the shows, we encourage you to check the website for upcoming artists and events. <\/p>\n

Sinatra’s Disco Pub<\/h3>\n

If you are one of those who prefer a little more activity, come and visit this famous space in the city. You can also go in the evening, as it is open from 7:30 pm until 5:30 am. <\/p>\n

The main star is Neil Saint John<\/strong> and he is one of the most recognized voices in musical terms, both by the local population and by those who have visited the city more than once. Every night there is a different performance, but his tributes to Sister Act or Tom Jones have been very famous. <\/p>\n

The place is very frequented by English tourists, therefore, the party, the music and the fun are more than assured.<\/p>\n

Medieval Challenge<\/h3>\n

It is located on the outskirts of the city, however, it is worth a 10-minute drive or booking a cab to get there.<\/p>\n

It is a show set in the Middle Ages<\/strong>, also with dinner included. It has become one of the most important leisure and tourist attractions in the area. It has facilities completely set in the aforementioned period and with a capacity for 1200 people. <\/p>\n

On the web you have the programming<\/strong><\/a> that take place periodically. You can enjoy the legend of Robin Hood or the proclamation of John of England as King of England. The horses, the armor, the costumes… everything is real! <\/p>\n

There are performances of drag queens<\/em>, cabaret and musical theater<\/strong>. It is frequented by both tourists and locals of Benidorm. We would like to point out that it has very affordable prices, as well as a magnificent terrace. <\/p>\n

We recommend that you contact the venue in advance to find out the times, performances and ticket prices.<\/p>\n

Heartbreak Rock Bar<\/h3>\n

This pub<\/em> is another emblem of Benidorm, as it is located right on the promenade of the Levante beach<\/strong>. It is characterized mainly because at any time of the day there is live music, more specifically rock<\/g>. Most tourists consider it the best music bar in the city. <\/p>\n

Open from 12:00 noon until 03:00 am. What we like most about this place is that you can sit and have a drink or a beer looking at the sea, since it is located a few meters away. <\/p>\n
