Are you going to visit Barcelona for a weekend?<\/strong> In this article we have prepared a planning of Barcelona in 2 days<\/strong> so that you do not miss any of the emblematic points of the city. <\/p>\n

Day 1<\/h2>\n

Your first day in Barcelona will help you connect with the spirit of the city. We are sure you will fall in love with Barcelona before the day is over. Ready for adventure?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stroll through the Gothic Quarter<\/h3>\n

The first day head to the Gothic Quarter<\/strong> to have breakfast in any of the traditional chocolate shops and bakeries. A good coffee with panellets<\/em> is a good option to enjoy a breakfast with a typical Catalan sweet. <\/p>\n

Let yourself be carried away by the small Roman and medieval streets in this neighborhood. In addition, in the vicinity of the Gothic Quarter you have a good part of the monuments to see in Barcelona, such as the Palau de la Generalitat, the Plaza del Rey or the Cathedral of Barcelona.<\/strong> However, we advise you not to spend too much time visiting them inside, as you still have a lot to see. <\/p>\n

Next, a 15-minute walk away is the Rambla de Barcelona<\/strong>. It is the tourist area par excellence. It is an avenue of 1200 meters where you can find terraces to have a drink, artists, flower shops and small kiosks. In one of the parallel streets is located the Boqueria Market<\/strong>, one of the most famous in the city. <\/p>\n

Eating at Barceloneta Beach<\/h3>\n

Once you reach the end of the Rambla you will find yourself at the Barceloneta Beach. It is a good area to eat in one of the restaurants overlooking the sea<\/strong>. Most of them are specialized in paellas and seafood. <\/p>\n

If you have some time left before lunch, we recommend a stroll through Port Vell; it is the old port of the city.<\/p>\n

Afternoon in Montju\u00efc<\/h3>\n

The best plan in the afternoon is to go to Montju\u00efc. It is one of the best viewpoints in Barcelona because the views of the port and the city are unforgettable. The most convenient is to take the D20 bus line located in Barceloneta and get off at the stop called Paral-lel. Go to Plaza Catalunya<\/strong> to have breakfast in one of the bars nearby. For the second day we recommend pa amb tom\u00e0quet<\/em> with a coffee or a juice; it is a typical lunch in Barcelona consisting of toast with oil, salt and rubbed tomato. <\/p>\n

Just 10 minutes away is the Casa Batll\u00f3<\/strong><\/a>in the heart of Paseo de Gracia, and a little further down the street La Pedrera<\/strong><\/a>. They are two buildings of modernist art that are a must-see in Barcelona. Both were the work of the famous Gaud\u00ed and, in addition, were declared World Heritage Sites by Unesco. <\/p>\n

Sagrada Familia<\/h3>\n

The Sagrada Familia is the undisputed icon of Barcelona, its emblem and also a World Heritage Site.<\/p>\n
